Introduction Text

Day 4: Mantra Meditation

Positive thought patterns and natural optimism through mantras

Today we come to a kind of meditation that I kind of run on autopilot all day in my head, or at least whenever I think about it. The beauty of mantra meditation is that you can do it with your eyes closed but also with your eyes open - depending on what you feel like.

Mantras are short sentences that you can say to yourself at any given moment. They can also be considered very closely with affirmations.

In mantra meditation, one usually focuses only on one mantra and in affirmations it is more often the case that one hears several consecutively.

The beauty of mantras is that they simply carry a lot of energy. You automatically give more power to whatever you concentrate on. So if you concentrate on a positive mantra that gives you a pleasant feeling, you will reinforce that feeling by repeating the mantra. It's not magic, it's just how our brain and body are linked and work together.

For today, we focus on one specific mantra to give you a good idea of this kind of meditation. The difference with yesterday's transcendental meditation is that you repeat a whole sentence and reflect it in your mind.

You can also choose traditional mantras that have a special vibration, such as:

Om

Am… and others that I am not even going to intend pronouncing right now!

And since many people feel that same way and do not want to intend to pronounce - or lean another foreign language at this point - here are some examples that also have a wonderful effect in english:

I am perfectly healthy

My life is full of love

I accept

My mind, body & soul are in perfect harmony

Health and peace for all beings

➔ These mantras can be adjusted as you like, or you can just use your own mantra if you like. The important thing is that you feel comfortable with the mantra.

For today's meditation we use the following mantra: I am completely happy and healthy!

Even if you do not agree at the moment, this mantra will have a positive effect on you. This session is about repeating the mantra over and over again, because that's how it gets into your subconscious and is stored there as the 'truth'. Once your subconscious mind has stored such a 'truth', it will do everything to make that truth ‘real’ on the physical level. So stick with it and always tell yourself that countless people, including myself, have already healed, manifested better lives and and and just through the power of thought ... YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

For this meditation you can choose a Binaural sound of: 6.3 Hz [which promotes fast learning & good memory]

and a Solfeggio Sound of : 417 Hz [which promotes change and facilitates letting go of unwanted thoughts or negative beliefs]
